Director, Contracting & Network Development (Healthcare)

Location: Remote in Pennsylvania; occasional travel across Pennsylvania is required for internal and provider-facing meetings.

Salary: $134,600–$249,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee provider contracting, network development, and provider relations functions.
• Develop and implement provider recruitment and contracting strategies for new, prospective, and expanding markets.
• Support new business launches while balancing market conditions, provider availability, budgets, and resources.
• Perform complex financial analyses to identify medical cost improvement opportunities and support financial goals.
• Lead contracting and network development staff and external consultants.
• Monitor performance, address process and quality gaps, and communicate network strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of combined experience in contracting, network development, or provider relations.
• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare contracting and negotiations involving hospitals, large physician groups, and ancillary services.
• Previous management experience covering hiring, training, work assignment, and staff performance management.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across Pennsylvania.
• Must be located in Pennsylvania to be considered.
