DC Sr Consultant (Retirement Plans)

Location: Remote - United States

Annual salary: $70,000–$85,000, plus potential compensation incentives.

What you will do

• Oversee complex retirement plan record-keeping projects and ensure accurate, timely deliverables.
• Build client relationships, understand client needs, and provide tailored consulting solutions.
• Advise clients on record-keeping issues, retirement plan features, benefits, and options.
• Ensure participant accounts, contributions, distributions, and loans are accurate and complete.
• Monitor retirement plan regulations and ensure procedures comply with applicable requirements.
• Manage project delivery, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor and train team members.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of relevant record-keeping experience combined with employee benefits or defined contribution experience.
• 5 years of experience with Schwab Retirement Technologies (SRT) or related retirement platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of the retirement plan industry and ability to interpret plan documents.
• Strong understanding of defined contribution compliance, including testing and Form 5500 preparation.
• In-depth knowledge of ERISA and IRS regulations, with strong analytical and financial data skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, or finance preferred; advanced Microsoft Office skills required.
