What you will do

• Support a primary care physician and provide a welcoming patient experience.
• Escort patients, clean and stock exam rooms, review medical information, and collect updated health data.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Schedule patients, manage check-in and check-out, process medical records, coordinate referrals, and arrange specialist visits.
• Document accurately, process test results, communicate results as directed, and conduct patient outreach.
• Maintain clinical supplies and equipment and collaborate with the care team on individual patient care plans.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration; required in states where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
