Cloud Security Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Ghent, Belgium; ability to work within the CEST timezone is required.

What you will do

• Build end-to-end features for cloud security products including CSPM, Kubernetes Security, Cloud Inventory, and Reachability.
• Develop security capabilities covering Kubernetes, containers, infrastructure as code, Linux hosts, and cloud environments.
• Ship production-ready, user-facing functionality across the stack.
• Research AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and emerging attack techniques to create intuitive security features.
• Work directly with customers to understand and solve real-world cloud security problems.
• Own features from ideation through testing, documentation, production release, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience with Go, or another backend language with willingness to learn Go.
• Experience building production software rather than only operating infrastructure.
• Experience with at least one public cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Kubernetes and modern cloud-native architectures.
• Ability to work across the stack, research unfamiliar cloud services, and discuss technical problems directly with customers.
• Mid-level to senior experience, fluent English, and ability to work within the CEST timezone.
