Vulnerability & Patch Management (Senior) Consultant (Cybersecurity): Managing the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle across GCP and AWS environments with an accent on exposure management, risk-based prioritization, and patch coordination. Focus on operating Tenable One, tracking remediation SLAs, translating emerging threats into remediation plans, and embedding security into cloud and DevOps workflows.
Location: Brussels, Belgium; work can be performed from home, at the client, or from the Brussels office.

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle from discovery and prioritization through remediation and verification across cloud environments, primarily GCP and AWS.
- Operate and optimize vulnerability scanning, asset discovery, and exposure management with Tenable One.
- Lead risk-based vulnerability prioritization using exposure analytics and scoring.
- Design, coordinate, and oversee patch management processes for a high-uptime trading environment.
- Track remediation SLAs, report on risk exposure, and drive closure with system and application owners.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud teams while supporting audits and security-policy improvements.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of cybersecurity experience focused on vulnerability and patch management.
- Hands-on experience with Tenable One, Tenable.io, Tenable.sc, or Nessus, with willingness to transition to Tenable One where needed.
- Solid understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems, networking, and common attack vectors.
- Strong analytical, prioritization, and stakeholder-communication skills.
- Work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
Nice to have
- ISO 27001 knowledge or certification, such as Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor.
- Google Cloud Platform certification, such as Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
- Experience in critical infrastructure, energy, or other highly regulated and high-availability sectors.
