Audio Production Assistant (Audio Production)

Location: Remote position associated with hirify.global's main location in Wheaton, Illinois, USA.

Salary: $18–21 per hour.

hirify.global is a Christian publishing ministry producing books, audiobooks, audio Bibles, podcasts, and related content.

What you will do

• Review incoming audio recordings and productions for quality, accuracy, errors, and inconsistencies using specialized software such as Pozotron.
• Prepare correction reports for the Senior Audio Production Manager.
• Adapt manuscripts for audio production, including developing listener-friendly solutions for diagrams, charts, and other visual content.
• Prepare pronunciation lists and resources for narrators and authors.
• Direct and coach narrators when assigned, and assist with recording sessions and other production activities.
• Support the hirify.global Podcast and other members of the Book & Audio Publishing team.

Requirements

• Ability to clearly hear and fluently comprehend spoken English is required.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in high-quality audiobooks and/or podcasts.
• Experience in audio production, digital audio editing, or live production is valuable.
• Commitment to hirify.global's evangelical Christian publishing ministry and active participation in a local church.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in narration, live vocal performance, or directing talent.
