Product Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Own product features from idea through release without relying on detailed specifications.
• Build refined, polished user interfaces in Next.js, comprising approximately 60% of the role.
• Implement and maintain backend features in Django and PostgreSQL, including integrations with third-party AI model APIs.
• Manage servers, maintain Linux-based infrastructure, and keep the platform reliable while handling substantial user data.
• Learn and apply knowledge of 3D models, formats, and production pipelines.
• Use AI coding tools daily to improve productivity while maintaining engineering quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack experience building web products across frontend and backend.
• Strong experience with Next.js, Django, and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on server management and Linux experience.
• Strong product judgment and attention to UX/UI quality, including interaction details such as animations, shadows, and visual polish.
• Experience shipping products used by real users and independently driving product decisions.
• Practical use of AI tools to improve productivity and work quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D models, meshes, formats, Blender, or headless 3D pipelines.
• Experience scaling a product.
• Experience with serverless GPU platforms such as Modal.
• Experience with Neon, Celery, or third-party AI model APIs.
