Animation Production Intern, DreamWorks Animation, Spring 2027

Location: Glendale, California, USA. Hybrid schedule with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday; the role requires a minimum of three office days per week, increasing to four days per week beginning January 5, 2026. Candidates must be willing to work in Glendale and provide their own relocation, housing, and transportation.

Hourly rate: $18.47.

What you will do

• Support a feature film or television production under the direction of a Production Manager.
• Assist with production activities, workflows, and processes.
• Observe and learn about the animation pipeline and creative process.
• Take on production challenges to build knowledge of animated television and feature workflows.
• Prioritize multiple requests while maintaining accurate and organized production support.

Requirements

• Knowledge of office management software such as Excel, Word, and Gmail.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to interact confidently with employees at all levels and work effectively as part of a team.
• Currently pursuing an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree, or a recent graduate within six months of graduation.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Film/TV, Animation/Illustration, Media Studies, or a related major.
• Experience with FlowPro, formerly known as ShotGrid.
