What you will do
- Lead the strategic management of the Group’s insurance programme, including coverage optimisation and risk transfer solutions.
- Direct complex, high-value, and sensitive claims, including claims strategy, litigation management, settlements, and insurer engagement.
- Provide expert advice on insurable risks, contractual liabilities, policy coverage, indemnities, and risk transfer arrangements.
- Design insurance solutions for major infrastructure and capital projects and manage multinational insurance programmes.
- Oversee insurance budgets, premiums, claims reserves, procurement, service providers, regulatory compliance, and financial governance.
- Lead and develop the Insurance Services team while delivering executive-level reporting and strategic insights.
Requirements
- Seven to ten or more years of senior-level experience in insurance, claims management, risk transfer, brokerage, underwriting, loss adjusting, legal claims management, or a related discipline.
- Experience leading complex insurance programmes and managing high-value or sensitive claims.
- Advanced knowledge of commercial insurance programmes, including aviation exposures, policy structures, insurer negotiations, coverage analysis, and placement strategy.
- Expertise in claims strategy, litigation oversight, contractual insurance provisions, indemnities, liability exposures, and risk transfer.
- Relevant third-level qualification in business, insurance, risk management, law, finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum CIP designation required; ACII, MDI, or an equivalent advanced professional insurance qualification strongly preferred.
