Staff Software Engineer, Alts Data Management (AI)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-month initiatives across the Alternatives Data Management team and adjacent teams.
• Lead technical designs for AI-powered data products and workflow solutions supporting private market investments.
• Write performant, scalable code, frameworks, and distributed services used across the engineering stack.
• Drive engineering best practices and serve as a primary technical contact for complex application and infrastructure issues.
• Communicate technical strategy, trade-offs, and architecture to engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers, identify skill gaps, and support technical development.

Requirements

• Right to work in the United Kingdom from the first day of employment; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Extensive software engineering experience and a track record of leading initiatives from design through delivery.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, AWS or another cloud platform, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with financial services or wealth management operations.
• Strong ownership, independent execution, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience using generative AI for coding.
