What you will do
- Lead a cross-product SRE team responsible for AWS GovCloud environments supporting FedRAMP authorization.
- Build multi-account GovCloud landing zones with service control policies, guardrails, logging, security tooling, and infrastructure-as-code provisioning.
- Develop automated pipelines for FedRAMP 20x evidence collection, normalization, reporting, and continuous monitoring.
- Own CI/CD, artifact signing, security and quality gates, release machinery, fleet patching, staged rollouts, and cloud cost visibility.
- Establish auditable production change controls, incident management, on-call practices, environment promotion, and post-incident reviews.
- Manage operational intake, prioritization, hiring, onboarding, team capacity, and delivery standards for DevOps, SRE, and security automation engineers.
Requirements
- Staff-level technical depth with hands-on experience building and operating Terraform, pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
- Experience managing, hiring, and developing an SRE, DevOps, or security automation team.
- Strong understanding of AWS GovCloud, multi-account architectures, service control policies, guardrails, logging, and security tooling.
- Experience with FedRAMP compliance, continuous monitoring, machine-readable evidence, and auditable operational controls.
- Experience operating appliance-model and single-tenant VM fleets alongside shared services, including golden images and staged upgrades at hundreds-to-thousands scale.
- Ability to lead incident management, production change governance, release automation, and operational prioritization.
