What you will do

• Design and build scalable, secure, highly available AWS infrastructure for critical systems.
• Partner with developers on architecture decisions involving reliability, performance, scalability, and application security.
• Identify vulnerabilities early and improve cybersecurity readiness.
• Provide last-line support for customer-facing services through a weekly on-call rotation, incident troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Build internal tools and automation used by engineering teams and mentor DevOps engineers.
• Help integrate AI into DevOps and SRE workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in operations, DevOps, or SRE, including system design and architecture.
• Hands-on AWS experience with IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, KMS, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail, including multi-account management, permissions, and SSO.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code skills with Terraform and knowledge of networking, security, and load balancing.
• Experience with CI/CD and deployment automation using GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, or GitOps.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or DataDog, plus complex incident response and root cause analysis.
• Ability to read Java, Ruby, Bash/Zsh, HCL, Python, and JavaScript and work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Layer 7 load balancing and container orchestration experience with ECS or EKS.
• Chef or Puppet configuration management experience.
• SOC2 compliance experience.
• Experience with Java, Python, NoSQL, MongoDB, Postgres, React, Terraform/Terragrunt, Chef, DataDog, or Prometheus.
