Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote - United States

Annual base salary: $150,000–$187,000 USD, excluding discretionary bonus; equity is available.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud and on-premise infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Own and optimize AWS environments for cost efficiency, security, resilience, and high availability.
• Administer production Kubernetes environments with Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, and Kustomize.
• Scale data streaming and real-time processing infrastructure using Confluent Cloud, Apache Kafka, and Redis.
• Build monitoring, alerting, incident response, feature flagging, and progressive deployment systems.
• Partner with software development teams to troubleshoot complex production issues and improve reliability, automation, and maintainability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a senior Site Reliability Engineering role or equivalent.
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform and Terragrunt, and comprehensive AWS experience.
• Hands-on experience with distributed data streaming, Redis, Amazon RDS, and enterprise search platforms such as OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
• Experience designing monitoring and alerting infrastructure with Prometheus, Grafana, Grafana Cloud, Alertmanager, OpsGenie, or PagerDuty.
• Production Kubernetes administration experience with Helm, ArgoCD, and Istio; working knowledge of Kustomize.
• Strong production troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and Agile engineering skills.

Nice to have

• Multi-cloud experience with Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure.
• Security and compliance knowledge for cloud-native and containerized environments.
• Serverless computing and CI/CD experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Software development experience with Node.js, Python, or Go.
