Operations Advisor - Derivatives Trade Reporting

Location: Pittsburgh, PA; must reside within 60 miles of Pittsburgh and attend periodic in-person meetings, training, and team events. Remote work is available outside required in-person commitments, subject to approval.

What you will do

• Monitor, validate, and reconcile swap transaction data reported to Swap Data Repositories.
• Ensure compliance with CFTC reporting and reconciliation requirements, including Parts 43, 45, and 23.
• Investigate and resolve data exceptions, discrepancies, and reporting issues.
• Support portfolio reconciliation activities and data quality controls.
• Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Compliance, Risk, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvement, automation, regulatory change initiatives, and enhancements to reporting controls and operating models.

Requirements

• University or college degree, typically a bachelor’s degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience; a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered instead of a degree.
• Accuracy and attention to detail, critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, effective communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of operational functions, process management, standard operating procedures, products and services, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Ability to monitor process performance, resolve exceptions independently, support escalations, and drive process improvements.
• Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards and resolve compliance issues.
• Must reside within 60 miles of Pittsburgh and be available for periodic in-person business obligations.
