Investment Strategy Analyst, Wealth Solutions Winter Co-op 2027 (Financial Markets)

Location: Hybrid role at 81 Bay St, Toronto, ON, with 2–3 days per week onsite and the remaining days remote.

Annualized base salary: $51,500–$60,200.

What you will do

• Support the Private Wealth Investment Strategy Group and Wood Gundy wealth-advisory teams.
• Contribute to publications covering financial market themes.
• Assist with proprietary equity and balanced portfolio updates.
• Support portfolio update processes and identify opportunities to improve them.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights and support decision-making.
• Contribute to project-based opportunities that enhance research capabilities.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies.
• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline is preferred; business, economics, or finance knowledge is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear materials using spreadsheets, presentation software, and web-based tools.
• Ability to work independently with guidance and collaborate with internal teams and business partners.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and, where applicable, hold a valid work or study permit.
