Bioinformaticians (F/H/X) (C++/Python)

What you will do

• Analyse large-scale next-generation sequencing datasets for vaccine quality control activities.
• Develop, maintain, and improve bioinformatics pipelines and analytical tools using C++ and Python.
• Define GMP requirements and support the implementation of NGS for QC release.
• Validate bioinformatics pipelines and prepare IT and informatics environments for production use.
• Contribute to data modelling, microbial genomics, assay development, experiment design, and analysis strategy.
• Summarise results for technical teams, regulatory documents, scientific publications, and congress materials while providing user support and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with complex computational or bioinformatics projects in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, Perl, Bash, Slurm, Git, and Nextflow.
• Experience with NGS data analysis, genomics, data mining, machine learning, scientific software development, and user support.
• Knowledge of R, Bioconductor, SQL, Linux, high-performance computing, cloud platforms, GMP, QC processes, pipeline validation, and biological databases.
• Fluent English is required; strong communication, problem-solving, prioritisation, and teamwork skills are expected.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of French.
• Experience with virology, bacteriology, and molecular biology.
