Product Manager, Payment Rails (Payments)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid work between the Vilnius office and remote work.

hirify.global is a Lithuania-based electronic money institution providing e-money, IBAN accounts, and domestic and cross-border payments, including SEPA.

What you will do

• Take card issuing and processing programmes from definition through certification, settlement reconciliation, monitoring, compliance sign-off, and live client transactions.
• Own the roadmap for card rails, push-to-card payouts such as Visa Direct and Mastercard Send, and bank correspondent integrations.
• Evaluate providers, track uptime, decline rates, incidents, response times, transaction costs, and rail performance.
• Own certification plans covering scheme, sponsor, and PCI-DSS requirements, involving AML, Risk, and Compliance.
• Write detailed requirements covering message flows, states, failures, reversals, limits, cut-offs, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Monitor rails after launch and collaborate with Core Banking, Payments Ops, Client Care, Sales, Engineering, and Compliance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, primarily in payments and programmes dependent on external parties.
• Experience launching and operating a card issuing or processing programme at a regulated firm.
• Experience managing multiple providers with conflicting roadmaps.
• Ability to interpret scheme mandates and provider contracts.
• Technical understanding of message flows, APIs, idempotency, reconciliation, and settlement.
• Strong English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• CENTROlink and SEPA payments through an EMI's own Bank of Lithuania access.
• Correspondent banking, cross-border payments, BIN sponsorship, or scheme audit experience.
• Push-to-card payouts, ISO 20022, or multi-currency settlement experience.
• Knowledge of EEA electronic-money or payment-institution regulation and audit.
