TL;DR
Manufacturing Engineer (Lean/Six Sigma/SolidWorks): Developing and industrializing manufacturing processes for low-voltage drives, power inverters, and converters with an accent on process design, production ramp-up, tooling, and continuous improvement. Focus on optimizing productivity, quality, cost, and waste through CAD/CAM design, KPI analysis, root-cause investigation, and scalable manufacturing solutions.

hirify.global’s Drives factory in Jüri produces low-voltage drives, power inverters, and converters for industrial and marine applications as part of hirify.global’s global Motion business.

What you will do

  • Develop and industrialize manufacturing processes, including process sequences, production methods, cycle times, equipment, and materials.
  • Lead production-line and product ramp-ups, troubleshoot start-up issues, and implement action plans with Production, Maintenance, and other stakeholders.
  • Design and optimize production processes, tooling, and fixtures using Design for Manufacture principles and SolidWorks CAD/CAM.
  • Drive Lean and Six Sigma improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, cost, and waste reduction.
  • Maintain manufacturing and quality documentation, including process flow charts, FMEA, quality control plans, and checklists.
  • Collaborate with internal experts, suppliers, and hirify.global teams across locations to resolve manufacturing and quality issues and implement scalable best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of Design for Manufacture, Design for Assembly, and Design for Quality principles.
  • Practical experience with continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma tools.
  • Advanced CAD skills, preferably SolidWorks CAD/CAM, including tooling and fixture design.
  • Good command of English and Russian; the role is onsite in Estonia.
