Senior Cost Manager (MEP)

What you will do

• Analyse cost reports and review findings with senior management.
• Prepare budgets through detailed cost modelling, benchmarking, and financial analysis.
• Manage project costs against budgets, including cost reviews, value engineering, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Monitor project financial close-out and vendor settlements.
• Oversee commercial change management, procurement, and RFP processes.
• Lead commercial risk management and review portfolio cash flow and earned value analytics.

Requirements

• Extensive cost management experience, ideally in a consultancy environment supporting large and complex projects.
• Understanding of MEP systems and ability to read services drawings and schematics.
• RICS chartered status or progress toward chartership.
• Degree or comparable qualification in construction, quantity surveying, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Strong ownership, accountability, communication, attention to detail, and quality focus.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
