Maintenance Excellence Owner

Location: On-site in Turku, Finland; Brønshøj, Denmark; or Stargard, Poland. Travel of approximately 25% per year is required.

What you will do

• Shape and govern the enterprise Total Productive Maintenance strategy across multiple sites.
• Standardize maintenance programs and drive best-practice sharing across manufacturing locations.
• Sponsor TPM pillars including Daily Management, Standard Work, Problem Solving, Equipment and Supplier Requirements, and Autonomous Maintenance.
• Lead reliability and operational excellence initiatives using RCM and FMEA to improve asset availability and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Oversee maintenance compliance, audit readiness, inspection support, and critical asset risk management under cGMP, GxP, and EHS standards.
• Direct CMMS/EAM and digital maintenance initiatives while developing maintenance leaders and partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, EHS, and external vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of maintenance, engineering, or operations experience in a GMP-regulated life sciences environment such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing multi-site or large-scale maintenance programs.
• Strong knowledge of TPM methodologies, reliability engineering, and CMMS/EAM systems.
• Demonstrated success improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime in regulated manufacturing.
• Ability to work on-site in Turku, Brønshøj, or Stargard and travel approximately 25% annually.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with digital maintenance technologies and Industry 4.0 applications.
