Cybersecurity Consultant (AI)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; flexible work from home, the client, or the Amsterdam office.

What you will do

• Deliver cybersecurity consulting, implementation, and audit engagements across cyber strategy, cyber risk, compliance, operations, and resilience.
• Support cyber strategy initiatives including target operating models, maturity assessments, transformation, M&A due diligence, and CISOaaS or DPOaaS offerings.
• Work on cyber risk management, risk assessment and treatment, third-party risk, risk analytics, and reporting.
• Contribute to cloud, infrastructure, endpoint, data, IoT, application, security architecture, cryptography, and SecDevOps projects.
• Perform or support threat hunting, digital forensics, incident response, vulnerability management, penetration testing, red teaming, and business continuity activities.
• Develop new SaaS offers and solutions in the CyberLab, conduct market benchmarks and proof-of-concepts, and contribute to cybersecurity publications and events.

Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a consulting firm and cybersecurity projects.
• Strong interest in data and AI topics, with the ability to rapidly develop expertise.
• Knowledge of one or more of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IP networks, operating systems, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, applications, and cryptography.
• Dutch communication and presentation skills are required; non-Dutch speakers will not be accepted. Work permit sponsorship is not available.
