What you will do
- Collaborate with data governance, architecture, platform, and business teams.
- Participate in technical decisions involving data catalogs, data quality, and data observability.
- Define implementation criteria, identify dependencies, and propose courses of action.
- Resolve technical definitions and remove blockers across teams.
- Support the evolution of prioritized data products for a banking client.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Data Engineer, Technical Lead, or Data Architect, including technical leadership and coordination across teams.
- Experience with AWS and dbt; dbt is the primary data catalog tool.
- Experience completing a data governance implementation cycle, ideally in banking.
- More than one year of experience leading data governance initiatives or projects.
- Experience implementing tools and knowledge of data platforms, data catalogs, data quality, or data observability tools.
- Ability to communicate with technical and functional stakeholders and provide a cross-cutting perspective.
Nice to have
- Experience with Elementary, DataHub, Apache Atlas, or similar tools.
