Government & Regulatory Affairs Intern

Location: Central London, United Kingdom; on-site four days per week. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the full internship period from 5 July 2027 to 21 July 2028.

What you will do

• Monitor UK political and legislative developments affecting the film and television industry.
• Track policy developments in the EU and other international markets.
• Record and monitor business operations across countries.
• Draft and edit presentations, position papers, consultation responses, letters, and policy submissions.
• Identify opportunities to influence public policy affecting the company and the creative industries.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues, Sky's public policy team, and industry participants, and represent the company in supervised public meetings.

Requirements

• Eligibility to work in the UK without restriction for the entire internship period.
• Availability to work in the Central London office on-site four days per week.
• Current undergraduate study with a return to full-time education in autumn 2028, or completion of A-Levels, an equivalent course, or an apprenticeship.
• Interest in and knowledge of UK government and parliamentary structures and international relations.
• Interest in creative industries such as film, television, and music.
• Strong analytical, writing, communication, and presentation skills, with curiosity across diverse policy areas.
