Data Analyst

What you will do

• Own analytics for assigned business units and act as the main point of contact for data-related questions.
• Conduct ad-hoc research to identify revenue opportunities, evaluate program and publisher performance, build segmentations, and identify inefficient partnerships.
• Investigate data anomalies and incidents, prepare diagnostic queries, and present conclusions and open questions.
• Develop and maintain Metabase dashboards, analytical datasets, KPI monitoring, alerts, and period-over-period comparison logic.
• Contribute to data mart development by defining requirements, refining business logic, and creating mappings.
• Optimize and review ClickHouse SQL queries, write specifications for DWH and engineering teams, and contribute to analytics AI tooling.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in product, operational, or data analytics, including independent ownership of an analytics area or business unit.
• Strong SQL skills, including CTEs, window functions, complex joins, and aggregations on large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with Metabase or similar BI tools, including dashboard development, auditing, deduplication, and documentation.
• Understanding of layered DWH architecture from raw data through staging to data marts, with experience working with data marts.
• Experience with ad-hoc research and anomaly investigations, including hypothesis formation, query-based validation, and evidence-based conclusions.
• English at B1 level or higher for documentation, written communication, and work with international teams.

Nice to have

• Python for analysis and automation.
• Experience with forecasting, before/after analysis, and measuring the impact of tracking or attribution changes.
• Experience using LLM and AI tools in analytical work with a critical approach to validating outputs.
