Software Engineer - Payment (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design payment and cash operations solutions with technical leads and architects.
• Implement business functionality across appropriate software layers.
• Improve reliability through automated testing.
• Own, maintain, and optimize assigned software modules.
• Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, consultants, and other departments.
• Develop customer-specific customization layers that enhance the user experience.

Requirements

• University degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
• Excellent programming skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Interest in banking and motivation to work across different software layers.
• Strong client focus and communication skills in English required.
• Structured approach, collaborative mindset, and eagerness to learn.

Nice to have

• Financial industry experience.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL and relational database systems.
• Business knowledge of payments.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
