Backend Engineer (Logistics Stack)

hirify.global is a blockchain technology company developing hardware cold wallets and mobile applications for secure digital asset management.

What you will do

• Design and build backend services and APIs for hirify.global platforms using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
• Develop integrations with logistics providers covering shipping, tracking, fulfillment, and webhooks.
• Design reliable asynchronous workflows with AWS SNS/SQS, including retries, dead-letter queues, and idempotent processing.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL queries, transactions, and data models.
• Own features end-to-end, from specifications and API contracts through implementation, testing, and production.
• Use AI-assisted development with validation through code review and automated tests.

Requirements

• Strong production experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with NestJS.
• Experience building and maintaining third-party API integrations and webhooks.
• Solid understanding of AWS SNS/SQS and asynchronous systems.
• Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills.
• Experience with spec-driven, AI-assisted development, plus strong engineering judgment and ownership.

Nice to have

• Logistics or e-commerce experience.
• Observability experience.
• Familiarity with domain-driven design or hexagonal architecture.
