Master Thesis Student (AI/ML)

Location: Hybrid in Stockholm or Gothenburg, Sweden, with a minimum of 3 days onsite

hirify.global is an Electronic Arts creative game studio developing the Battlefield franchise and exploring digital art, design, and technology.

What you will do

• Complete a six-month master thesis project within the hirify.global team.
• Research game development problem spaces individually or with a thesis partner.
• Analyze editor crash data, call stacks, and local log files using machine learning and natural language processing.
• Combine code history with asset and configuration changes to identify causes of editor issues.
• Convert user session telemetry and logs into executable scripts for automated crash reproduction in a headless environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an MSc in Computer Science or a similar field.
• Must be enrolled in a Swedish university or other Swedish educational program that includes an internship period.
• Interest in working in game development.
• Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, Maya, or Houdini.
• Experience with C++ or C#, depending on the selected thesis topic.
