Senior GenAI & Data Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Birmingham, Alabama; Knoxville, Tennessee; Columbia, South Carolina; or Lafayette, Louisiana

What you will do

• Develop and integrate AI-enabled applications and data solutions for enterprise financial services use cases.
• Build Generative AI solutions using LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and Amazon Bedrock.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines, data models, integrations, and large-scale data processing solutions.
• Build and integrate REST APIs across applications, data platforms, AI services, and enterprise systems.
• Use AWS cloud-native and serverless services, including Lambda, Glue, and Step Functions.
• Translate business and product requirements into practical technical solutions while collaborating with technical and business teams.

Requirements

• Five years of hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs, including AI agents and RAG.
• Experience developing enterprise AI solutions with Amazon Bedrock.
• Advanced Python and PySpark development skills.
• Strong data engineering experience, including pipelines, data models, integrations, and large-scale processing.
• Experience with REST APIs, containers, event-driven processing, and AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, and Step Functions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; financial services experience.
