Disneyland® Resort Public Affairs Intern, Spring 2027

Location: Onsite in Anaheim, California, United States. Full-time internship from January 2027 through June 2027, with availability required Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM Pacific Time, for 40 hours per week. Candidates must provide housing in the Anaheim area and reliable transportation.

Salary: $23.00 per hour, with select medical, financial, and other benefits potentially included.

Disneyland Resort Communications & Public Affairs supports media relations, community engagement, government relations, internal communications, public relations, and executive communications.

What you will do

• Support the planning, communication, and execution of events with internal teams, community partners, nonprofits, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate VIP and stakeholder visits, including behind-the-scenes Disneyland Resort experiences.
• Support Government Relations and Corporate Citizenship programs, sponsorships, and nonprofit partnerships.
• Coordinate department-wide projects, events, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
• Respond to inquiries, maintain project momentum, and build relationships across the resort.
• Create content and support communications and events for the Disneyland Resort Ambassador Program.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, taking at least one class at the time of application, or participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
• At least 18 years old and not beyond one year of continuous employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program.
• Unrestricted work authorization is required.
• Pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; senior-year status is preferred.
• Strong communication, writing, organization, project management, and collaboration skills.
• Full availability onsite in Anaheim for the entire January–June 2027 internship period is required. A writing sample link must be included on the résumé.

Nice to have

• Experience with content creation, photography, videography, or video editing.
• Experience supporting events, community programs, or campus organizations.
• Familiarity with CyberGrants, Smartsheet, Airtable, or similar tools.
• Curiosity about AI and comfort with technology.
