TL;DR
Oracle WebLogic Senior Administrator (Oracle Fusion Middleware/OCI): Managing and optimizing WebLogic Server and Fusion Middleware environments across on-premises and OCI-hosted infrastructure with an accent on clustering, security, performance engineering, and mission-critical Oracle application stacks. Focus on designing high-availability and disaster-recovery topologies, tuning JVM and WebLogic workloads, executing patching and upgrades, and automating OCI provisioning with WLST, Terraform, and Ansible.
Location: Cairo, Egypt; in-person collaboration is prioritized

What you will do
- Install, configure, administer, and upgrade Oracle WebLogic Server 12c/14c across development, staging, and production environments.
- Design WebLogic domains, clusters, JDBC and JMS resources, security realms, deployments, session replication, and distributed caching.
- Administer Oracle Fusion Middleware components including SOA Suite, OSB, OHS, OAM/OIM, Oracle Forms/Reports, OBIEE/OAS, and Enterprise Manager.
- Support Oracle E-Business Suite, Siebel CRM, Oracle SOA/OSB/AIA, and Oracle BRM middleware stacks.
- Design high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions, manage load balancers, and execute failover and switchover procedures.
- Tune JVM and WebLogic performance, manage patching and lifecycle upgrades, migrate workloads to OCI, and automate operations with WLST, Terraform, and Ansible.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of progressive Oracle middleware administration experience, including expert-level WebLogic Server 12c/14c administration.
- Strong knowledge of WebLogic domain architecture, clustering, JMS, JDBC, security, Node Manager, deployment models, JVM tuning, and performance diagnostics.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware and at least two enterprise application stacks such as Oracle EBS, Siebel CRM, Oracle SOA/OSB/AIA, or Oracle BRM.
- Hands-on experience migrating WebLogic workloads to OCI Compute, Marketplace, or OKE.
- Proficiency in WLST and at least one of Python, Bash, or Ansible, plus Linux administration on Oracle Linux or RHEL.
- Strong understanding of load balancing, SSL/TLS, DNS, web-tier architecture, operational documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Nice to have
- Oracle WebLogic, Oracle SOA Suite, or OCI certifications.
- WebLogic Kubernetes Operator, OKE, Terraform OCI provider, or Oracle Integration Cloud experience.
- Experience with OTD, GLB, enterprise monitoring platforms, CI/CD pipelines, OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, or OAM integrations.
- ITIL knowledge or experience in managed services, telecom, or consulting delivery environments.
