Deployment Manager - Base Automation (Automation)

Location: Flexible location within New Zealand; hybrid work with national deployment and travel

What you will do

• Lead operational technology and automation deployments across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Partner with site leadership to ensure operational readiness, adoption, transition, and delivery of business benefits.
• Manage and coach a team of Deployment Leads.
• Drive consistency, pace, quality, governance, and performance reporting across the deployment programme.
• Manage delivery risks, dependencies, competing priorities, and organisational change.
• Build partnerships with site managers, operational leaders, engineering teams, OT specialists, and programme stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience leading large-scale, multi-site projects or programmes in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, operational technology, or similarly complex environments.
• Proven experience leading delivery teams in fast-paced and high-pressure settings.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across operational, technical, and senior leadership groups.
• Experience managing complex risks, interdependencies, and delivery challenges.
• Experience with operational technology, automation, industrial control systems, digital manufacturing, or large-scale operational transformation.
• Ability to balance technical delivery requirements with operational realities and support significant business or workforce change.
