TL;DR
Software Consultant (Logistics): Configuring and implementing warehouse and logistics software solutions for customer projects with an accent on requirements analysis, software documentation, and customer-site deployment. Focus on diagnosing implementation issues, commissioning systems, and coordinating with solution design and project management to deliver projects on schedule.
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; customer-site travel within the country required

What you will do
- Participate in stakeholder discussions to understand business, software, system, and customer requirements.
- Analyze customer processes and translate them into suitable warehouse and logistics software applications.
- Define, configure, implement, and document software setups, rules, process flows, and functional descriptions.
- Support software testing, commissioning, deployment, and implementation at customer sites.
- Diagnose software errors and bugs, coordinate fixes, and track issues and project milestones.
- Collaborate with solution design, project management, and other project members to resolve software-related issues and capture customer feedback.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in software-related project implementation at customer sites.
- Mandatory knowledge of logistics processes, automation, supply chain, warehouse management systems, and software solutions for warehouse or logistics environments.
- Experience with intralogistics processes is required, and travel within Malaysia is expected.
- Experience with SQL database installation, network topology and configuration, and network troubleshooting.
- Fluent English in both spoken and written communication, plus strong technical documentation skills.
Nice to have
- SAP or ERP knowledge.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including OneNote.
