Location: Filton, Bristol, United Kingdom. On-site degree apprenticeship starting in September 2027; the programme lasts 4 years and 3 months. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work in the United Kingdom for the full duration of the programme.

What you will do

• Complete a BEng (Hons) in Electromechanical Engineering through Weston College and the University of the West of England.
• Work on Commercial Aircraft Programmes in areas such as Flight Physics, Wind Tunnel, Landing Gear Systems, and Fuel and Inerting Systems.
• Undertake placements in aircraft architecture and integration, design, simulation, stress and fatigue, certification, testing, and in-service support.
• Contribute to digital engineering activities including coding, AI, machine learning, and data analytics.
• Develop project management, business, financial, and leadership skills through departmental rotations and engineering projects.

Requirements

• 112 UCAS points or 3 A Levels at BBC or above, including Maths at grade B or above and Physics or Chemistry at grade C or above, with an additional qualification; or an eligible BTEC Extended Diploma at DMM/D level; or a T Level in Engineering and Manufacturing at Merit or above.
• GCSE Maths and English Language and Literature at grade 5/B or above.
• Curiosity, enthusiasm for engineering, effective communication, and the ability to manage problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for aerospace and the sustainable future of the civil aircraft market.
• Current legal authorisation to work in the United Kingdom for the full programme duration is required.
• Successful candidates must pass a BPSS check and may need UK SC-level security clearance or Export Control approval.

Nice to have

• Level 3 Maths alongside a T Level in Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Practical experience from projects, hobbies, academic work, or extracurricular activities.
