Engineering Degree Apprenticeship (Aerospace)

Location: On-site at hirify.global's aircraft manufacturing site in Broughton, North Wales, near Chester, United Kingdom. The programme starts in September 2027 and lasts three years, with a 40-month programme structure described in the role details.

hirify.global provides aircraft manufacturing and engineering opportunities through a degree apprenticeship combining university study with practical industry placements.

What you will do

• Study toward a BEng (Hons) in Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering through Swansea University and Coleg Cambria.
• Rotate approximately every 12 weeks through design engineering, manufacturing engineering, and quality engineering placements.
• Support design changes, wing-structure analysis, static stress, fatigue, and damage-tolerance activities using hand calculations and finite element analysis.
• Support aircraft assembly as a lineside manufacturing engineer and develop tooling, robotics, automation, and 3D-printing solutions.
• Monitor product quality during build, manage issues with multifunctional teams, and contribute to aircraft modifications and quality-control projects.
• Gain experience with finance, supply chain, procurement, logistics, enablement, testing, and laboratory functions.

Requirements

• Right to work in the United Kingdom for the full duration of the programme is required.
• Meet one of the specified academic routes, including 112 UCAS points with the required Maths and Physics or Chemistry grades, an eligible engineering BTEC, Access to HE qualification, IB, or T Level qualification.
• Minimum Grade 4/C in English Language and Maths GCSEs.
• Submit a CV including grades and whether they are predicted or achieved.
• Submit a cover letter explaining motivation for hirify.global and the apprenticeship, together with relevant skills and experience.
• Successful candidates must complete a BPSS check and may require UK SC-level security clearance or Export Control approval.
