Location: Filton, Bristol, United Kingdom; on-site placements at the Wing Manufacturing Centre of Excellence. The programme starts in September 2027, lasts 3 years and 3 months, and includes 8 months of off-site academic and vocational study before on-site placements.
Salary: £19,185 per year. Full-time, 35 hours per week.

provides aerospace engineering and manufacturing experience through a Level 3 facilities management apprenticeship with academic study, vocational training, and industry placements.
What you will do
- Support daily facilities issues and planned preventative maintenance across the site.
- Work with external service providers, review supplier workmanship, and evaluate technical proposals.
- Develop infrastructure specifications, designs, and projects that improve asset reliability, performance, and standardisation.
- Identify sustainability and energy-management improvements with the Energy and Asset Management teams.
- Assess energy, maintenance, and technical impacts of infrastructure proposals.
- Carry out infrastructure audits and apply health and safety and legislative requirements.
Requirements
- Five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Maths, English Language, and Science.
- Submit a CV showing achieved or predicted grades.
- Submit a cover letter explaining motivation for and the apprenticeship, plus relevant skills and experience.
- Current legal authorisation to work in the United Kingdom for the full duration of the programme is required.
- Eligibility for levy funding is required.
- Successful candidates must complete a BPSS check and may need UK SC-level security clearance or Export Control approval, depending on the role.
