hirify.global develops AI detection technology and conducts research on frontier methods for identifying AI-generated content and authorship.

What you will do

• Conduct research on frontier AI detection and related topics under the guidance of an assigned mentor.
• Choose and investigate a research topic with the goal of publishing a paper at a major conference.
• Study adversarial robustness, including detector performance against humanizers and adversarial paraphrasing.
• Develop interpretable detection methods, new architectures, and approaches to mixed human/AI authorship.
• Research multimodal detection for images, video, and audio, as well as the effects of AI-generated data on LLM training.
• Explore agentic AI detection or propose an original topic relevant to AI detection.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence; exceptional undergraduates entering their senior year may also apply.
• Prior research experience resulting in a published paper at a top AI venue.
• Strong knowledge of deep learning fundamentals and experience training neural networks.
• Excellent programming skills in Python and a deep learning framework such as PyTorch.
• Experience working with an AI research agent such as Claude Code or Codex.
