Polish Subject Matter Expert – AI Audio Transcription (Remote)

Location: Fully remote from anywhere in the Netherlands

What you will do

• Lead and support Polish-speaking labelers and reviewers throughout the audio transcription project.
• Provide expert guidance on Polish transcription, labeling, grammar, pronunciation, and language-specific questions.
• Audit labeling and review work, monitor performance, and provide actionable quality feedback.
• Host Office Hours, manage project questions in Discord, and communicate updates and quality expectations.
• Identify ambiguities or gaps in project guidelines and escalate issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with Project Operators and Project Managers on quality, workflow, and performance concerns.

Requirements

• Native proficiency in Polish with strong knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, natural spoken usage, and regional variation.
• Experience with audio transcription, data labeling, linguistic annotation, quality assurance, or AI/ML data projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to detect subtle linguistic, transcription, and labeling errors.
• Experience providing feedback, coaching, or leading teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project priorities.
• Familiarity with Discord or similar online collaboration platforms.

Nice to have

• Background in linguistics, translation, localization, or language education.
• Experience with AI training data pipelines or annotation platforms.
• Familiarity with regional Polish speech patterns and dialectal variation.
• Quality assurance or team leadership experience in a remote or distributed environment.
