Polish Subject Matter Expert – Audio Transcription (AI Training)

What you will do

• Lead and support a team of Polish labelers and reviewers throughout the audio transcription project.
• Provide linguistic guidance on transcription, labeling, Polish grammar, pronunciation, and language-specific questions.
• Audit labeling and reviewing work, monitor team performance, and provide actionable feedback.
• Host office hours, manage project questions through Discord, and communicate updates and quality expectations.
• Identify guideline ambiguities, escalate issues, and collaborate with Project Operators and Project Managers on quality and workflow concerns.
• Participate in team meetings, calibration sessions, and project discussions to align labelers and reviewers.

Requirements

• Native Polish proficiency with strong knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, regional variation, pronunciation, and natural spoken usage.
• Experience with audio transcription, data labeling, linguistic annotation, quality assurance, or AI/ML data projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle linguistic, transcription, and labeling errors.
• Experience providing feedback, coaching, or leading teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple project priorities, and communicate effectively in Polish.
• Familiarity with Discord or similar online collaboration platforms.

Nice to have

• Background in linguistics, translation, localization, or language education.
• Experience with AI training data pipelines or annotation platforms.
• Familiarity with regional Polish speech patterns and dialectal variation.
• Prior quality assurance or team leadership experience in a remote setting.
