Software Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States; work is on-site

Salary: $224,000–$300,000 USD per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Build software that automates the delivery of gigawatt-scale AI infrastructure.
• Develop production features using LLM APIs, MCP servers, and agentic frameworks.
• Turn construction schedules, site records, work packages, and quality inspections into structured data and workflows.
• Build systems for change orders, procurement planning, BIM-based bills of materials, submittals, and commissioning.
• Work directly with construction leads, field engineers, schedulers, and commissioning teams to drive software adoption.

Requirements

• Production coding experience in Go, Python, or TypeScript, with the ability to learn additional languages as needed.
• Experience building real features with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-weight models.
• Experience with MCP servers and agentic frameworks.
• Daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor, including autonomous agent workflows.
• Ability to identify problems, design solutions, and ship independently under demanding deadlines.
• Experience building credibility with construction, field engineering, scheduling, or commissioning professionals.

Nice to have

• Construction technology or project controls, including P6, schedule engines, or critical path systems.
• BIM, IFC, or Revit data models.
• Commissioning, BMS/EPMS, or controls protocols.
• Document control, submittal workflows, graph data models, or computer vision for site imagery.
