Cyber Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Hungary; hybrid working model with three days together and two days wherever. Offices are located in Budapest and Debrecen.

What you will do

• Support the design, implementation and operation of managed cybersecurity services across Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Securonix and other cloud-native platforms.
• Configure and integrate SaaS security platforms, Azure and AWS services, customer data sources, APIs, agents, cloud connectors and syslog.
• Own engineering work packages and smaller technical projects, including testing, documentation, upgrades, migrations and service acceptance.
• Troubleshoot issues across cloud platforms, security tools, integrations and network connectivity.
• Collaborate with SOC, product, architecture, service operations, suppliers and customers to keep services secure and operationally effective.
• Improve automation, operational efficiency and service quality using cloud-native and AI-enabled capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience in cybersecurity engineering, cloud engineering, security operations, infrastructure engineering or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, including cloud services, identity management, security controls, monitoring and administration.
• Experience supporting, deploying or operating SIEM, XDR, EDR, cloud security or identity security solutions.
• Understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs and secure connectivity.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, workload management and technical communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with virtual teams, suppliers, customers and other stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, CrowdStrike NG-SIEM, Securonix or similar enterprise security platforms.
• Experience with managed security services, SOC environments, threat detection, incident response and security monitoring.
• Knowledge of IAM technologies including Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, privileged access management and authentication services.
• Awareness of ISO27001, NIST, CIS Controls or Cyber Essentials.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning or generative AI applied to cybersecurity operations, automation and security analytics.
