Growth Engineer (SEO/AEO)

Location: NYC, United States; on-site

Base salary: $200,000–$220,000 per year, plus equity, healthcare benefits, and paid time off.

What you will do

• Own hirify.global’s SEO and AEO visibility across AI citations, rankings, sentiment, organic signups, and funded accounts.
• Run weekly competitor research, keyword citation sweeps, SEO/AEO scorecards, and ship fixes to existing pages.
• Ship production page and code changes through the CMS and codebase, including on-page optimization, structured data, internal linking, and new pages.
• Extend the multi-agent content pipeline covering research, drafting, specialist review, compliance gates, and marketing sign-off.
• Monitor crawlability, indexing, AI crawler access, site performance, and technical regressions with alerts.
• Build measurement feeds connecting search and AI visibility to signups, funded accounts, and CAC, while developing incorporation content clusters and comparison pages.

Requirements

• Strong generalist engineering background covering data pipelines, production changes, monitoring, alerting, and runbooks.
• Deep current knowledge of technical SEO and a practical understanding of how AI answer engines select and cite sources.
• Hands-on experience with Ahrefs, Google Search Console, rank-tracking APIs, and AI visibility platforms such as Profound.
• Experience building production LLM or agentic content pipelines with human and compliance review gates.
• Ability to work in a regulated business with verified claims, exact disclosures, and compliance review.
• Ability to work on-site in NYC.
