Senior Scientist, Bioconjugates, Downstream Processing

What you will do

• Lead and participate in experimental design and execute process development studies for antibodies and bioconjugates.
• Optimize laboratory-scale and occasional pilot-scale conjugation reactions, chromatography, and TFF filtration.
• Establish appropriate conditions and operating ranges for critical process parameters.
• Analyze experimental data, verify data integrity, and prepare technical reports and summaries.
• Perform technology transfers to collaboration partners and present findings to project teams and management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams while independently managing multiple projects and timelines.

Requirements

• PhD with at least 3 years of relevant post-doctoral experience, or MS with at least 12 years of relevant experience, or BS with at least 15 years of relevant experience.
• Background in chemical engineering, biological sciences, biochemistry, or an equivalent discipline.
• Hands-on experience in downstream processing, purification of antibodies or recombinant protein therapeutics, and production of bioconjugates such as tLNPs, ADCs, AOCs, or APCs.
• Practical experience with chromatography, filtration, and conjugation is required.
• Experience with electronic notebooks, technical reports, protocols, data reporting, and team-based collaboration.
• Strong organization, communication, independent project management, and presentation skills; occasional weekend work may be required.

• Exposure to analytical method development for in-process methods.
• Experience with process improvements, CMC, quality assurance, or scientific research.
