Manager IT, Platform Production Support, Clinical & Provider (Healthcare IT)

Location: United States; remote for employees living more than 50 miles from the Pittsburgh or Camp Hill offices, hybrid in-office Tuesday through Thursday for employees within 50 miles

hirify.global provides technology and application support within the Highmark Health organization, including Clinical and Provider systems.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage analysts and software engineers.
• Oversee daily support operations, incident management, and lifecycle maintenance for Clinical and Provider applications.
• Collaborate with Clinical and Provider leadership, operations, product engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
• Work with third-party software vendors on service-level agreements, complex troubleshooting, updates, and patches.
• Optimize system performance, maintain high availability, and support improvements to clinical workflows and provider and patient experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 5 years of leadership or mentoring experience.
• At least 5 years of experience planning, implementing, maintaining, and growing capabilities within a relevant discipline.
• At least 3 years of developing, communicating, and presenting concepts to varied audiences.
• Knowledge of business practices, products, assigned business unit direction, and applicable IT procedures and standards.
• Position requires compliance with Highmark corporate policies, IT procedures, HIPAA, privacy policies, and information security requirements.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience with employee development plans, performance evaluations, goal setting, budget administration, and process improvement.
• Experience developing strategic plans and managing resources across multiple projects.
