Product Operations Intern (Rewards)

What you will do

• Review receipt-scanning submissions against validation rules and make consistent approval or rejection decisions.
• Identify unusual receipt formats, retailer-specific issues, duplicate submissions, and potential abuse.
• Write actionable bug reports, reproducible examples, and recommendations for improving extraction and validation logic.
• Prioritize product improvements by customer impact, fraud risk, and operational cost, and track fixes through the backlog.
• Maintain review guidelines, decision criteria, and escalation paths as the program scales.
• Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, or remove workflow steps and help improve internal tools.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, logical approach to identifying patterns and defining rules.
• Effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to write actionable bug reports and summarize trends.
• Interest in consumer fintech, rewards and loyalty programs, product operations, or products operating at scale.
• Demonstrated experience with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required.

• Experience in operations, product, fintech, data analysis, trust and safety, or startup-related internships, projects, or extracurricular activities.
