Principal Engineer (AI/.NET)

What you will do

• Define technical product requirements and high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems and platforms.
• Produce quality code artifacts, maintain code quality, participate in code reviews and test case reviews, and resolve code-level problems.
• Design cloud-native deployment strategies, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD processes for scalable, reliable, and secure enterprise applications.
• Design and integrate agentic AI solutions that plan and coordinate multi-step workflows and take actions across systems within business rules, validation controls, and security guardrails.
• Support development strategies, frameworks, standards, and reusable patterns across the development organization.
• Work with Product Owners and development teams, mentor Associate Software Architects and Software Engineers, and collaborate with teams in other geographic locations with flexible hours for time-zone coverage.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with C# and 5+ years with C++.
• 3+ years with .NET Core, REST APIs, and containerization using Docker/Kubernetes; 2+ years with gRPC and Blazor.
• 5+ years with ADO.NET, OAuth/OIDC, and MSSQL/T-SQL.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience implementing AI-powered developer productivity solutions and engineering workflows, including containerized AI workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of AI security, observability, model monitoring, prompt management, validation, guardrails, and responsible AI practices.
• Build server administration, deployment automation, and CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance experience.
• Experience with IDEs and development tools including Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, GitHub, SVN, JIRA, code analysis tools, and SonarQube.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, or a related field, or equivalent experience; expert-level software development lifecycle practices and implementations.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform.
• Configuration management and deployment automation experience using Ansible.
