Salary: $112,710–$183,140 per year
Company
develops construction machinery and technology for autonomous, sustainable jobsites and digitally enabled industrial operations.
What you will do
- Design and develop real-time rendering pipelines for digital twins, autonomous machines, robotics, and virtual jobsite simulations.
- Implement physically based rendering, ray tracing, materials, lighting, weather, atmospheric effects, and scene optimization with Unreal Engine and NVIDIA Omniverse RTX.
- Develop camera, LiDAR, radar, depth, segmentation, and other sensor-rendering capabilities for autonomy, perception, synthetic data, and validation.
- Build shaders, GPU-accelerated features, reusable services, plugins, APIs, tools, and asset-processing workflows using C++ and Python.
- Optimize CPU/GPU performance, memory, latency, throughput, frame time, and visual fidelity across interactive, headless, distributed, and cloud-based workloads.
- Collaborate with perception, simulation, physics, digital twin, platform, and QA teams on sensor outputs, scene composition, integration, testing, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience in computer graphics, rendering, simulation, visualization, game engines, or sensor simulation.
- Advanced C++ skills and working proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 5, NVIDIA Omniverse RTX, Unity, or comparable real-time rendering platforms.
- Experience with GPU programming, shader development, ray tracing, OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX, HLSL, GLSL, or CUDA.
- Knowledge of physically based rendering, materials, lighting, camera models, image formation, coordinate systems, numerical methods, and performance profiling.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and typically 5+ years of software engineering experience in rendering, simulation, visualization, or graphics-intensive systems.
Nice to have
