What you will do

• Create best practices and efficient workflows for UI artists.
• Collaborate with UI programmers to develop new engine features.
• Build and maintain key UI materials, shaders, and technical systems for games.
• Analyze memory usage and performance throughout development.
• Evaluate technical challenges in UI art and UX design concepts.
• Research and prototype art pipelines to help implement new ideas.

Requirements

• 6+ years of industry experience.
• Expert knowledge of Unreal Engine 5, especially the Material Editor and UMG.
• Ability to collaborate across design, art, production, and programming disciplines.
• Experience delivering shippable, memory-efficient, and performant content or systems.
• Ability to solve technical challenges, self-direct, and work autonomously.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of HLSL or GLSL.
• Python scripting or another programming language.
• Experience with a 3D modeling application and image editor.
• Experience with Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Unity, or other game engines.
• Strong balance of creative visual aesthetics and technical skills.
