TL;DR
Contracts Administrator I (Aerospace & Defense): Supporting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, administration, and closeout for low-dollar government contracts with an accent on compliance, documentation, and customer coordination. Focus on maintaining contract records, reviewing FAR/DFAR requirements, resolving invoice issues, and completing cradle-to-grave contract actions for U.S. government programs.

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; primarily office-based

Salary: $29.03–$39.92 per hour

What you will do

  • Support proposal preparation, contract negotiations, administration, tracking, reporting, and closeout for assigned programs.
  • Update contract management systems and maintain accurate contract records and documentation.
  • Review contract documents for compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Coordinate with program managers, technical personnel, administrative teams, contract managers, and external customers.
  • Review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements and support low-dollar, low-complexity U.S. government contracts.
  • Track contract data requirements, unbilled accounts receivable, invoice issues, audits, and compliance reviews.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 0–2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for employment eligibility.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Familiarity with government contract requirements, FAR, and DFAR regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Problem-solving skills with originality, creativity, and initiative.
