Manager - Laboratory

Annual salary: $73,947–$115,542 USD, plus a 6% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Oversee daily operations of the Separations and Control Laboratories and ensure timely, accurate analysis results.
• Supervise, schedule, and deploy laboratory technicians across laboratory functions.
• Coordinate routine and non-routine sample analysis for Minerals exploration, operations, business units, and off-site clients.
• Supervise the use of XRF and other analytical equipment and methods, troubleshoot assay problems, and review production test data.
• Coordinate equipment calibration, maintenance, repairs, inventory, and service-provider work orders.
• Maintain safety, environmental, housekeeping, payroll timekeeping, and respectful teamwork standards.

Requirements

• At least four years of laboratory operations experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with standard desktop applications, including MS Office.
• Safety-conscious approach and knowledge of mine safety, laboratory environmental, and safety standards.
• Ability to work at the Starke, Florida, or Offerman, Georgia laboratory locations.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with SAP.
• Working knowledge of heavy mineral separation techniques.
• Several years of experience supervising mineralogy laboratories.
