Senior Application Programmer (MuleSoft)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise APIs and integration solutions.
• Modernize legacy interfaces and data exchanges with secure, reusable, real-time API services.
• Build integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, SAP technologies, databases, cloud services, SaaS platforms, and internal systems.
• Define API specifications, data transformations, mappings, validation rules, and reusable DataWeave components.
• Implement API security, scalability, resiliency, load balancing, and high availability.
• Lead technical efforts, collaborate across architecture and cybersecurity teams, mentor developers, and support releases and production troubleshooting.

Requirements

• US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, application programming, enterprise integration, or API development.
• Experience with MuleSoft or comparable middleware, enterprise integrations, databases, web services, and cloud applications.
• Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, RAML, OpenAPI, JSON, XML, WSDL, CSV, DataWeave, SQL, and integration patterns.
• Experience with Agile development, Git-based source control, CI/CD, DevSecOps, technical leadership, and mentoring.

Nice to have

• MuleSoft Certified Developer or MuleSoft Integration Architect certification.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP platforms and legacy enterprise modernization.
• Federal government, regulated-environment, AWS GovCloud, or secure cloud experience.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Postman, SoapUI, SonarQube, or MUnit.
• Knowledge of RMF, ATO, STIG, PKI, cybersecurity compliance, high availability, and disaster recovery.
